  • It's a great place to go for an afternoon stroll, and it's a very popular place for families and people to walk their dogs. There's an area with a bbq and loss of tables and benches. Plenty of parking, which is also a reasonable price (£1 for 2 hours, £2 for 4 hours, etc), and the cat park is well maintained. The view is stunning from the hill, especially around sunset. And if you stay for at least half an hour after sunset, you'll see some amazing colours streak across the sky. Make sure you have a wander into the forest, it can be quite magical and very peaceful.
  • For stunning views then this is the place to visit. Plenty of car parking, though there is a small charge. Ideal place for either a bbq or taking the dogs for a walk. There are toilets here and a small information desk.
  • Spectacular views and lonely walks
  • Pleasant walk and nice views, shame we had to pay for the car park even though it is listed as national trust, and we are members.
  • Beautiful and varied.
