  • Nice visitors centre, nice view of the reservoir. There is a trail for the kids to walk around with a Wind in the Willows theme. There are characters along the way. You can pay a pound to get a piece of paper with the map of the trail and a crayon to do brass rubbings along the way.
  • Great place to go for a walk. Lots of different ways to go. Free car park. Good place for children to go to. There a a few things for them to interact with. Various place's to view the wild life with bird hides dotted around the area. There is a nice cafe on the lake at one end and a visitor's centre at the other end with snacks and drinks to purchase. If your a keen Fisher men you can hire a boat and go out on the reservoir.
  • Loved this place. Even if you don't want go for a walk have a coffee and watch all the little birdies and squirrels through those big beautiful windows! Cheap fun!!
  • Nice place for a walk. They put on lots of activities for the little ones which really gets them involved. Only down side was the really grumpy woman on the till who has no idea how to interact with children or people for that matter.
  • Have been to Hanningfield a few times now, always welcomed by friendly reception staff. Great chance to capture bird images through the several hides around the reserve. Lovely place in general to get up close with nature.
