  • Great parking and good location. Got lots on offer for children and lots of different craft shops. Otherwise I would recommend pre planning to get the most of it.
  • Great day out, well worth taking the chicken as lots to keep them occupied through the day, would defiantly return
  • Visited on a school trip with my class and the trip was fantastic. Really well catered for the younger age groups throughout (c. 8yrs). My entire class thoroughly enjoyed themselves, as did the adults.
  • Gets better everytime i take my daughters.. they never get bored here. In the farm, the new reptile area is a good addition. Its not somewhere we could spend the whole day but definitely 3 to 5 hours worth.
  • Brilliant day out for the kids and family i will be returning regular once my son is able to walk. Cant say enough this is superb hold your heads up high barleylands you are doing a cracking job. special thanks to the young guy who spent time to show us first hand the bearded dragons and chameleons
  • Had an amazing day out here with our younger children. Plenty for them (and us!) to see and to do. Exhibits, hands in experiences with farm animals as well as exotic species, feeding experiences, displays by the birds of prey team. The cafe/restaurant here is also quite good, though very busy and we had to wait for a table. All around a really good day out.
  • All the usual animals us carnivores would eat, plus really good play areas for children and adults of all ages.
