4.7/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web
Walk along the water's edge or get out on the surf at Bigbury-on-Sea Beach. The large expanse of sand leaves plenty of room for strolls, while wave and wind sports are especially popular here. Learn to surf at the local surfing school or head out on your own for some great waves. When the tide is out, try walking to Burgh Island, but note that you need to take the sea tractor to it during high tide. Onsite facilities include a cafe, beach store, and restrooms near the parking lot. The area also has many restaurants to choose from.
