Head to The Big Sheep for unusual and entertaining animal shows and interactive games and challenges. Watch sheep race with stuffed animals as their jockeys and see border collies round up ducks. See how trainers learn equine "language" in order to train horses. Enter the splash zone for a water-balloon battle, bounce up and down on a giant inflatable pillow, and play on slides and in ball pits in the indoor play zone. Many of the facilities are under cover, so you can still have fun if it rains during your visit. Plan to see The Big Sheep and other attractions that appeal to you using our Bideford itinerary maker.

  • One of our days out while staying in Ilfracombe. The Big Sheep is a very different attraction to most as it is all about sheep, from sheep shearing to sheep racing and sheepdog trials. The shows in th...  read more »
  • We used Tesco vouchers towards the entry cost and had a really fun day here. Quite random (rollercoaster and a sheep farm!) but this was half the charm! With lots of things to do from rides, pedalos, ...  read more »
  • After passing advertising for the attraction whilst on holiday, we thought we would book a family day out. We pre-booked using the website, it stated that the park was open until the 31st October - Gr...  read more »
  • Went with tesco days out vouchers. Took parents, borrowed a wheel chair from here for my mum, as just getting over an operation. So much for kids to do! The shows were entertaining and informative, don't miss the one about sheep, children will love it, my dad enjoyed the one about beer (they brew their own beer, you can have free tasters in shop) saw the sheepdog show, again entertaining. Big indoor soft play area inside, with big slides, and café, this gets very busy. My boys loved the bouncy pillows! I like the Swan pedalos, unfortunately roller coaster was not working. Lots to do here, spent all day here, we took a picnic so can't comment on the food. Sheep racing at end of the day, enjoyed by everyone, again very entertaining! The men hosting the shows do an excellent job and are very funny.
  • When there in the late 90's when my boys were small. Had a great time,my eldest at the time was stung in his mouth by a wasp. The staff were fantastic as well as the small A&E Dpt at the local hospital. We will never forget the great time we had
  • Our absolutely favourite day out. Keeps everyone happy; adults, kids and teenagers. Staff are friendly and make every effort to make sure you enjoy your day. The shows are well planned out so you can see everything. The rare breeds show is awesome :-) The shows make learning about the animals interesting and fun. My children got to see a sheep born one year which was amazing. Great value for money and the restaurant serves good quality tasty food with good kids food especially for my fussy pair. Shop is also good value. We go approx twice every year if not more :-)
  • I went today I just came back now and I loved it but a bit disappointed as we waited 30mins to line up for the Rolla coaster and we got on and it stopped working and it's really busy but I enjoyed my sheep selfie LOL. We are going back in the summer. 😄😄😍😍
  • Kids (3yr & 8yr) loved it here, my 3yr old wanted to watch the sheep talk twice. I didn't think I would be saying this, but a very informative and entertaining talk about sheep.
