An interesting coastal area with old ship wrecks at low tides, steep large pebble beach to sea side and access to beach in estuary, a few horses and sheep grazing, can be very busy!
Great place to park up and enjoy the Pebbleridge beach. Good little cafe next to the westward Ho entrance to the burrows that serves a great range of grab and go food and drink.

Lots of open space, fairly flat. Free roaming sheep and horses so need to keep dogs under control. Lots of animal poo on ground. No good access to beach. Great views from the dunes.

Almost the best place in the world, Just the wrong side of the river - Braunton Burrows is more beautiful.
