  • We went to the beach here on a calm February day. This is a massive beach at low tide. Great for big walks and massive sand-castles.  more »

  • Entrance fee of 3.5 seems a bit steep for the facilities. Fantastic beach if you avoid high tide.
  • Lots of open space, fairly flat. Free roaming sheep and horses so need to keep dogs under control. Lots of animal poo on ground. No good access to beach. Great views from the dunes.
  • Beautiful spot and the visitors centre was interesting too.
  • I'm assuming the massive pebbles are a sea defence, and when we visited it was high tide but nevertheless sitting in the dunes in the shelter from the wind making sandcastles was lovely
  • Almost the best place in the world, Just the wrong side of the river - Braunton Burrows is more beautiful.
