  • Anyone who has an interest in world war memorabilia will have a great time here.I took visitors here for a short visit and we stayed there for a couple of hours and had to drag them away!
  • Interesting collection of combat memorabilia but could do with more explanation and human contact. What started off as a personal collection had morphed over the years - but now it has opened as a col...  more »
  • Visited with friends. But the three pilots are full of army mess. Overcrowded. Nice for someone who loves but not for us. Sherman tank was nice to see in the outdoor area.

  • An interesting way to spend a few hours. Lots of stuff to see and a great deal of detail if you spend the time to read the info charts. It's a bit out of the way though and the road down is not the greatest
  • Very good way to spend a few hours. Great displays and information. Its clear that this collection/museum was built on a passion for what it displays. NAAFI wagon was a nice touch and they even sell a lot of surplus kit including deactivated weapons and inert rounds. Road to get there was a little awkward due to being so tight, but we managed fine. I was more concerned with how the hell did they get some of the vehicles down there!? I mean a T54 tank is a little bigger than a Fiat Panda!
  • Really interesting place absolutely crammed full of military equipment, a fun afternoon for young or old
  • A brilliantly eclectic collection and a fascinating day out.
  • Amazing. I love WW2 tanks and memorabilia. My father was a tankie. Went through Dunkirk, the desert campaign and Italy and this collection brings to life his war stories.
