  • As members of Bicton we regularly enjoy the beautiful gardens and appreciate all the hard work that goes into keeping it going. This year we decided to have the Christmas lunch there with my Dad...

  • This is the best kept secret in Devon! For some reason (maybe because they don't sell alcohol?) it's rarely busy, even during the summer months and school holidays. It's a stunning garden, by far the best in the region, and it's huge. It has trees from all over the world and several paths to walk. It's perfect for kids, with 2 outdoor playing areas and a high quality indoor soft play area. It's perfect for picnics too, with a few dedicated areas well-positioned throughout the property. The small bar serves hot drinks and snacks and has a nice view over the central garden. There's also an interesting farming museum. The entrance prices are cheaper than other nearby places and for a small increment you can buy a year pass. Well worth a visit!
  • There are 3 great play areas which my 1 & 4 year old loved. The cafe was nice with a good selection, nice gardens to walk. We spent a whole day here. There's still indoor soft play if it's raining, though would limit what else you may do here.
  • Wonderful space for children to run around - paddle in a stream or play in the outside play areas. The only negative is that they have started to charge for the Indore play area. I would personally prefer that they just updated the membership fees. Seems pretty for the nominal fee they charge.
  • The most amazing and splendid of all the gardens in Devon. Gardener or not, you cannot help but marvel at the beauty of these astounding gardens. I absolutely adore this place and highly recommend to all, a visit if you're in the vicinity.
  • Fantastic. The gardens are well looked after. Plenty of food with semi-reasonable prices. Lots of car parking and you can borrow a pram for your children. Soft play for kids. And train ride showing you around the place. Brilliant.
