We went during the winter - with the dog and two children. You can spend hours in this park, feeding the ducks, taking the dog around the park and finally having a bite to eat at Danson Stables (dogs ... more »

A fairly large park with a lake as a water feature. There are two main buildings in the park which offer snacks, tea and the like. There are paths which are wide enough for both bikers and walkers to use at the same time. The park also features a boat rental service for those interested in going onto the lake. Wildlife, mostly birds, can be heard amongst the rustling trees which are scattered all over the park along with the ducks and geese which flock to the waters edge.

Beautiful park with a lake and wildlife, stunning mansion (on a TV show but I'm not sure what.) Greater pub/restaurant with very reasonable prices without loosing quality Family and dig friendly. Highly recommended
