Well used Park. Popular with everyone and generally kept it's standard. New SEASONAL parking ALERT: April - Sep car park standard charge is £2.50. I think for whole day. Reason given: its a Council car park (now?). Park itself may have somewhat improved over last 5yrs or so. I used to live in the area. With so much potential, I hope the local wildlife groups are invited to do some conservation work and walks - if council will allow it? Always brilliant for engaging the locals!
It has a number of fine eating establishments as well as great activities for all to enjoy.
Really lovely park, well kept grounds with a beautiful manor house for cream tea. Unfortunately it was closed when we visited so we just admired it from outside.
WE love taking the kids here, such a nice park, people are friendly great kids play park..ducks, swans..etc..big space which these days is hard to find.
Beautiful park with many facility's including tennis lawn bowls. Tennis. Lovely restaurant. Etc
