  • Had a fantastic day out at West Midlands Safari Park this week. Was so much better than I expected. We spent 8 hours there only about an hour of which was spent in the restaurants. Can't believe what ...  more »

  • Fantastic place - especially if you take kids. Took us 2 hours to drive around - take your time - so many people rushed by. Enjoy each animal they are not going anywhere. Well controlled for safety. The rides inside the complex are okay but put the band - it works out cheaper but dont expect Alton Towers type rides. Sea Lion show is just passable. Dinasour area is fantastic and quite large - well worth taking in the kids
  • A great day out and plenty good value for money compared to other top rated theme parks. The food outlets were reasonably priced. Better customer service is had at the concession restaurants (Burger Co. is great) rather than the main park restaurant opposite the reptile house, whos management had closed large sections of the restaurant when people we clearly unable to find seats. The reason given was because the area was clean!
  • Really good day out. It can get pretty busy driving round and there can be lots of waiting to get past cars, animals and to get through the different enclosures. Going early/late or in the week is a good idea. The theme park is good, but no threat to anything like Alton towers. A nice bonus though and the rides are good. You get a free return visit though so it's good value for money.
  • Lovely family location, can be busy. Disappointed in the fact that some of the animals were asleep or just really far away but understand this is for safety measures. I felt there were too many people about for me to actually enjoy the experience. But I can imagine it being lovely if it was quieter
  • WMSP is always good value. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The safari part is great and provides a rare opportunity to get close to the animals. The zoo is good and there is a lot to see. The rides are pretty good and with kids are good value with the wristband, you normally don't have to queue very long to get on the rides which makes the day much more enjoyable than an actual theme park.
