  • I was surprised at how much there was to learn about bees and beekeeping. There are a few rooms of information and history in addition to the shop. We were there in winter, so the bus cafe was closed ...  more »

  • Disabled access isn't the best but they've obviously tried to accommodate as much as possible. The main problem is gravel surfaces that are always difficult for wheelchairs. Friendly staff and a fantastic selection of sandwiches and cake in their "Old Bus" cafe. Inside there's a very informative display about Bees and other insects (free), a demonstration hive and a gift shop with various honey related products. There's also a selection of restored and part restored vehicles. An interesting and popular place for a visit that has enough variety to keep families interested. Not the most modern place but it has a worn and comfortable atmosphere. The Union Suspension Bridge a short walk down the road is also well worth a visit. Try to stand on the bridge as a car goes across. It's incredible how much it moves!
  • My family and I all love to visit The Honey Farm. Our visitors are always treated to an afternoon visit here and following stocking up on products from the shop, and a walk around the museum we enjoy something to eat in the bus cafe. The range of sandwich fillings and homemade cakes are wonderful... I am a Foot Health Practitioner and can highly recommend the Foot Balm and the Foot Cream...I always use this with my clients, it is excellent value and I feel safe in the knowledge that these products do not contain any chemicals. Personally I also use the Geranium hand cream several times a day and since using this I have not had any flare ups of Eczema.
  • Lovely shop with honey and all sorts of honey based products. They accept cards and cash. Fabulous cafe in a vintage bus too!
  • Brilliant! Great place, loads to see, food great, but the Bees were amazing! Bought flower seeds to encourage them in our garden, along with lots of their beautiful Honey. :) x
  • Very Informative, very well run, lovely family feel with pleasant staff. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced.
