  • A tad expensive for what it is but we managed to make our visit last 4 hours when we incorporated a chat over coffee and a walk around the area. We did learn a few things though. Interesting and picturesque.
  • We visited here yesterday and was met with a very rude National Trust member who took one look at us and said "well you won't be National Trust members will you". Maybe this is because we are a young family with four children; as it happens we are indeed members and have been for several years! When we asked where is the best place to park we were just told we will have to move the car immediately. We decided we wouldn't be visiting the windmill at this point, it's a good job my children were with me otherwise I would of told him what a judgmental prat he is! It's a shame really as the windmill looked very interesting from the outside.
  • Well worth a view if your in the area.Quite a tight area to move about so advantage to be thereon a quiet day.Three floors demonstrating turning Wheat into flour as in a bygone age.
  • Not pretty from the outside but we'll maintained internally with lots of info. The stairs are understandably nor for the faint hearted!
  • Fascinating. Doesn't work but that allows you close and to touch. Very steep steps, almost ladders.
