  • You will not be disappointed by this culinary experience, just try to resist not buying a delicious morsel of goodness.
  • The food and atmosphere of this market was wonderful! We enjoyed wandering around and seeing all of the seafood, meat, baked goods, crafts and delicious food and music!
  • In my opinion the best market in Belfast, lots of unique stalls, lots of food to sample and buy.The breakfast rolls are amazing. also some good live music.

  • St George's Market is billed as being the last surviving Victorian covered market in Belfast. It is located on May Street, close to the Waterfront Hall and Central Railway station so if you are a tourist it is easy to get to and there is plenty to see nearby. The market was built between 1890 and 1896 and it claims to be one of the best markets in the UK and Ireland but as I am not visit markets on a regular basis I do not know if this claim is valid. The market sells a variety of products including food, clothes, books and antiques but you need to be aware that it only operates Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The first time I visited I said “this was one of the highlights of my visit to Belfast” but unfortunately this visit I found it much less interesting. I suspect that it is the type of place that one visits once or twice and then never visits again.
  • Great little slice of Camden. If you're hungry you'll be tempted by all the amazing smells that are playing with your senses. Live acoustic sets add to the atmosphere along with the many stalls that are on display to tease your hard earned money away from your wallet.
  • Really cool market. Lots of street food and crafts. Would love to have bought the local produce if I had stayed longer. Would recommend the breakfast soda bread.
  • Great place to go on a Sunday. Love Andy's vinyl stall. And some great meat and fish. Found vegetables and other food to be slightly overpriced though
  • If your in Belfast its a Must see. Everything Day different. Love The crafts and The food is Fantastic. SUPPORT THE LOCAL ARTS, CRAFTS AND FOOD!
