I visited here in mid August. The market is great - there's so much to see and it's full of life, colour, smells and more. I really enjoyed the food and the live music was great. I'd highly recommend ...  more »

This market I don't think it's suitable for tourists who come from far away either because aside from some nice food there is nothing really worth buying while about the culinary even find them suitable for those wishing to sample the local cuisine as apart from some hamburger bun with ethnic food is served here. It is also not very big either.

We have went here for fresh fruit and veg, other times to get something to eat...other times to have a "day out" and finally - to meet visitors to the city on a Sunday morning! Every time - a great experience. It can get busy on the main market days - so we like to go early. Do not expect the fruit to be overly cheap - especially the organic. The prices on some stalls are close to the supermarkets. There are stalls of art, painting, tourist stuff....sweets, teas, coffees and more! Live music on a Sunday is great...as are the Belfast Baps ;-) If you have not had a day here...your missing out!

A really great covered market with live music, all kinds of food and ware vendors and generally a really cool place. It can be very crowded, so be aware. We very much liked the stands for Med Mex and Paella. All around pretty great
