  • Went through this road up to Peace Wall from central Belfast..! So many landmarks on that road..! You may take a taxi or hop on/ of bus to go to this place..!
  • Colorful and historical murals. No action these days. Very average experience. At least there's a graveyard.
  • The images and messages to the Northern Ireland conflict from my childhood still in mind are to me. Well, I saw it with my own eyes. We were walking on the road. One evening in the English part and the other morning on the Catholic, Irish. You can feel the Differnzen today, the foreclosure is visible and palpable. I admit it, I was shocked and thought-provoking. 2016, a year in which many people from all over the world (mainly Muslim) in Germany seeking asylum. Mrs Merkel says: we can do this? When I see how big are the differences and the hate here, I wonder whether we really so smoothly and easily create? What can get the world out of the Northern Ireland conflict? Tolerance is important! But what can you do against intolerance?

  • Visited here as part of the European Heritage Open Day 2016. Was great to learn about the history of this building which contains some interesting features, would certainly be a great spot to come to study or just have a read. The exterior really grabs your attention as you make your way up the hill. The exhibition space upstairs has some history on the buildings around Belfast, which is worth a look.
