  • So much better than I expected! Huge site beautifully laid out and maintained to a very high standard. Zoo gives the animals space and dignity and encourages conservation. However our highlight was the indoor funfair. Like stepping back into the late 50s - fabulous collection of well remembered rides all superbly conserved and working well. I grew up in Nottingham around this time and many of the rides featured in our famous Goose Fair. A ride on the Caterpillar brought back many happy memories! There was so much to see and do we could have returned the following day...we visit many of this type of park with our grandchildren and this was easily the best for attractions and value for money.
  • This is the second time I've been to Folly Farm... it's very very good to see that they are continually making improvements to everything! The animals all look healthy and happy, with plenty of information on each animal present. The barn is happily interactive with very friendly and child happy animals. Lots to do for the children as well... of all shapes, sizes and ages! I'm 28 and found plenty of fun rides to go on! Lots outdoors, plenty free to do with the ones that are charged (mostly the original older rides) being nice and cheap... it's still easy to sink lots of money into the rides though!!! Highly recommend this as a place to go... either as a family or just as adults... easily a day spent here.
  • Absolutely love folly farm! What an amazing experience for all of the family! The animals look very happy. My little boy loves the parks here too! There is so much to do in the one place. Will definitely be going again and I highly recommend!
  • Whenever we holiday in Wales we always come here. We have been coming here for over 15 years. Our children enjoy the animals, the outdoor play areas and the vintage funfair. Big car park so no need to worry about parking. This would have been a 5 star rating had it not been for the lack of Fun Fair Restaurant...no sign explaining it was closed. Hope this is just temporary and bad timing on our behalf. The new restaurant was not big enough and the burger bar is limited menu wise. Indoor play area is great for the children but visibility for seeing where children are is awful plus it's not enclosed so could easily go outside or into funfair. This area would benefit from being made safer and less stressful for parents! Shame the tokens needed for rides aren't refundable or ability to donate back for animal welfare. Maps are no longer given out on entry so take a Folly Farm leaflet with you. Despite the last couple of issues, we would still come back to Folly Farm. There's lots to do. Our older teens might be too old for outdoor play but they love the zoo and the indoor funfair.
  • This place was great, good play areas for all ages, lots of different animals and themed areas as you walked around. Information boards about the animals and it looked as if they were upgrading animal areas and footpaths. Lots of things to do when there like tractor rides, go-karts and old fashion fun fair, indoor play area and so much more. Prices were fair for this kind of attraction but you had to pay additional for fair rides and go karts. Overall we really enjoyed it and was there pretty much all day. Good toilet facilities, walkways, eating areas(although expensive).
