Set in a picturesque fishing village, Pecorama stands as one of Devon's most popular tourist attractions. Home to the factory of world-renowned model railway manufacturers, PECO, this theme park provides entertainment for all ages. Marvel at the model railway exhibition, demonstrating a variety of model railway layouts and scenarios. Take a ride on the "Beer Heights Light Railway," a complex circuit over 1.6 km (1 mi) in length, boasting fine views over Lyme Bay and beyond. For food and beverage, take your pick from three different facilities, including the "Orion Pullman Car," a fully-restored car saved from the scrap heap by highly skilled craftsmen. Put Pecorama into our Seaton tour planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Seaton.

Always a great day out for the kids. When the train is running they always enjoy the ride, especially spotting the moles along the way. The views across the bay from the upper section are lovely on a clear day. The gardens are beautifully kept and in season make for a lovely day out on their own. In the winter and wet weather the play station soft play is always a hit. The outdoor play area is extensive but not as up to date as some. The food is ok, but could do with an update. There is WiFi in some areas.
Great day out for kids and adults interested in trains and model trains. Beautiful gardens, great indoor and outdoor play area's. All set on a hill overlooking stunning views.
Prepare for the worlds smallest exhibition for cost value, nearing £10 for your fair you would expect to come away from an entertainment facility with enjoyment and fulfilment, this however was not the case for our visit. Going through the gallery of model railways some of the exhibits were astonishingly detailed and superb craftsmanship however it took us just 15 minuets to complete the Pecorama exhibit leaving us to ask an assistant if their was more on show. Feeling deflated we were funnelled into the shop where we were exposed to high priced model crafts and confronted with two collogues complaining about their £9 an hour salary and discontent for working certain days (standing around talking about their wages no doubt). It is fair to say we were in and out of Pecorama within 30 minuets and just over £40 lighter for our group we are going to be taking a wide birth from any Pecorama in the future and will be advising people to avoid all together.
It was bad weather when me and my party visited and just wanted to do the exhibition, I even asked for just the exhibition ticket and got told 9 pound bargain ticket is the only one available. All I have to say is I want my money back! I did not just pay 9 pound to walk around and look and railway models (well madeand great craftmanship) and hear staff complain about their 9 pound an hour wage and winge on the days they have to be working the following week for 20 minutes. We even questioned staff if there was more but they were too busy having a moan! The worst part is when I got home and looked on the website I find the exhibition ticket is just 2.50 each instead of 9!!!
Had a great day at Pecorama, there is tons to do, a pretty decent soft play and outdoor play area. Staff were super friendly. Well worth a visit if you are near Beer.
