Set in a picturesque fishing village, Pecorama stands as one of Devon's most popular tourist attractions. Home to the factory of world-renowned model railway manufacturers, PECO, this theme park provides entertainment for all ages. Marvel at the model railway exhibition, demonstrating a variety of model railway layouts and scenarios. Take a ride on the "Beer Heights Light Railway," a complex circuit over 1.6 km (1 mi) in length, boasting fine views over Lyme Bay and beyond. For food and beverage, take your pick from three different facilities, including the "Orion Pullman Car," a fully-restored car saved from the scrap heap by highly skilled craftsmen. • We are two pensioners and have just had a fantastic day at Pecorama. Lots to do and see. Had the train ride, played with the model trains, enjoyed the static exhibition. Gardens are beautiful (with a fabulous grotto), food excellent and charming staff. A super day out. Need to be fit though, grounds are steep.
  • This is really great value, lots to do. We were there from about open to close. Lots of kids play areas and a big soft play. Free face painting in the summer holidays. Well worth getting the 1st class ticket for a second round on the train and crazy golf. Really wasn't expecting the model scenes to be as extensive or as appealing to children as they were.
  • It's a bit pricey but if you are into your model railways you should love it. The miniature railway ride is great and worth going on. Not sure, but I believe it may be possible to just go on the train ride around the gardens. Worth checking if you didn't want to look at the exhibits.
  • Excellent train rides run by friendly staff. Lots of other things to do including shows, brio play area, golf and loads of outdoor play equipment. We found that the gardens are an excellent place for a family game of hide and seek too!
  • Great day out for train enthusiasts. We really enjoyed the ride on the light railway and the soft play was expensive and well maintained. Mink golf is fun albeit challenging as it's on a hill! Lovely gardens too.
