Set in a picturesque fishing village, Pecorama stands as one of Devon's most popular tourist attractions. Home to the factory of world-renowned model railway manufacturers, PECO, this theme park provides entertainment for all ages. Marvel at the model railway exhibition, demonstrating a variety of model railway layouts and scenarios. Take a ride on the "Beer Heights Light Railway," a complex circuit over 1.6 km (1 mi) in length, boasting fine views over Lyme Bay and beyond. For food and beverage, take your pick from three different facilities, including the "Orion Pullman Car," a fully-restored car saved from the scrap heap by highly skilled craftsmen. Been coming here for 20 years It's a bit like London Zoo Great for kids and even when they fly you still fancy going! more »

Excellent value for what was provided. The grandparents booked for us to take our 21 month old to see Santa. The staff were lovely and gave us a letter to write to Santa. The train and track had been ... more »
Beautiful scenery, gardens and enough to do to fill the majority of your day. Everything is very well kept and very clean. Indoor play area is very big and plenty of seating. Train ride has some spectacular views, so nice we did it twice. If you have a "train mad" little one and the sun is shining don't hesitate and get down here.
Brilliant place to visit. Loads of different activities for young people and the young at heart. Miniature train ride was superb. Crazy golf was, well, crazy. Great fun. Young uns wore themselves out on the indoor soft play area.
Went out of season on a damp misty day. Still enjoyed the little train ride but would have been prettier with gardens in bloom in the sunshine. Great for the kids and train enthusiasts. Nice model railway exhibition.
Fabulous place to take your younger kids or anyone who is really into trains. Gardens and playgrounds are very well kept. We were there during late September, which was absolutely fine, but it can probably get quite busy during high season.
Pecorama is aimed in two directions. It is a haven for children and a big draw for anyone interested in model Railways. The models on display seem to be aimed at getting people modelling rather than being of the more artistic side. They electrics used seem to be basin and old fashioned with trains juddering to a halt or zooming off and perhaps not quite arriving at stations. The train ride is very pretty and about 12 minutes ride. It's hard to grasp that when you turn up for a ride a 12:55 in the middle of the day you find out the next train is at 2pm. Of course the loco needs refuelling but have something else available then. At least half hourly on a summer holiday day ought to be essential. People had to be turned away from the train even the the rain was pouring down. The restaurant seemed well priced. Models in the shop were at the higher end of price but had a good range. I came out of my way to see the place and think with young children it would have been much more worth it. It needs more trains to be running.
