  • A great place to walk, cycle, relax, exercise, picnic, visit the cafe or play area. Choice of place to eat - the great cafe in the visitors centre or the Beefeater. So accessible, and lots of wildlife...  read more »

  • Went during a weekend away with friends. Lovely park. Beautiful lakes. Good playground and zip wire for kids. Lots of space to run around. Lots of caches around the lake and surrounding areas.
  • Lovelly outside space. Could be better if there was a baby swing set and slide etc, but we could only find a park area for the older kids.
  • A beautiful location. You would hardly believe that you were so close to the centre of Bedford. Great for dog walking, bird watching, or jogging. Why not do all 3 at once. We Do. Highly recommended. Great all year round due to the beautifully maintained paths.
  • Great park with a big lake in the centre and a handful of walking paths to follow for a little stroll or running. Also, one longer path in Cambridge direction.
  • Pleasant parkland for a walk, cycle or run. The footpaths don't quite run all the way round the lake. The sailing club, like any club located on a waterway, gets quite proprietorial about its little stretch of waterfront, so has fenced themselves off from mere mortals. No matter, you can take a wider route to complete the circuit. Wild flora and fauna abounds and the grounds are well kept.
