  • This is by far the loveliest country park in Bedfordshire. A lovely drive through tiny villages to get there and then a stunning lake to walk around. There are many places to stop and sit and look out...  more »
  • Was taken there by my friend and we enjoyed a nice walk around the lake. It has stunning views and there was a nice cafe on site for light refreshments.  more »
  • The cafe looks much as it did when the Teazles team were in charge ,but there the similarity ends .No longer the superior quality home made cakes and range of quality light meals and snacks .The staff...  more »

  • Lovely scenic place with massive open grounds and lakes. Took family and friends for a picnic and we had an awesome time. We enjoyed the walks, played football and the kids had a fab time on both playgrounds. Free parking and ice cream van available.
  • Lovely walk in the sunshine around the lake then a light lunch at Dragonfly cafe. Food and service excellent. Fab menu choices at very good prices...highly recommend.
  • Bring back Tea-Zels I have been quite a few times as I walk my dogs there , Even though all I order is a Tea & Maybe a Baguette the service has been ever so slow & the quality is not what it was .The place has been nowhere near as busy as it used to be !! since the take-over & on quite a few occasions my first choice has been unavailable . I have seen several groups get up & leave as orders have been Mislaid or forgotten . They keep saying that they are short-staffed which never previously seemed to be an issue but to be fair I think the prices are generally a little lower than when it was Tea-Zels but from talking to many people the quality of the cakes , coffee & other food has dropped somewhat. The Manageress is Local from Harrold but unlike before it's not her business so is limited in what she can & can't control . Not a patch on what it used to be which is a shame . The Borough council have done the local community a huge dis-service by allowing this catering company to take=over & ruin what was an exceptional local business .
  • Lovely walks including riverside & lakeside. Good paths for most of the routes. Well maintained. Free parking. Scenic. Great little place to stop and have a coffee and cake or light bite to eat afterwards with very friendly hostesses (table service). Great place to walk the dog or have a picnic.
  • Had a great walk around the park (was just the right distance for the little ones to walk) and explored the nature reserves before stopping at the play area and having coffee/ice cream. Nice to see parking was a £1 donation, rather than a "pay & display"
