  • What makes this lovely local park a cut above the rest, in my opinion, is the wonderful cafe. Delicious home cooked food and something for everyone but most of all, efficient and quick with service an...  read more »
  • This is a pleasant local park with a lake full of ducks, birds etc. It has a good child's playground. Of note you are not allowed to ride a bike in this park, so it is not good to teach your child to ...  read more »
  • The cafe inside the park has a range of food, the children love it and the parents enjoy it. My children and I have enjoyed this cafe for years.
  • It's a great park, you can just enjoy a walk around the lake, sit down in the many different sections of the park and enjoy a variety of sceneries and feed the squirrels, ducks or carps; out if you are really brave, you can choose the playground area which is always a little noisier but has a cafe and most importantly the toilets! This park is well stabilised with a great variety of trees and many paths you can walk around. You can also find a rose garden, and when it's in bloom... the scent is to die for. And there is a section of the park just dedicated for dog walking too. And in the event of bad weather (like I've tested a few times!) there are two gazebo type buildings where you can hide and look at the ducks swimming around "laughing" at you. It is well accessible for mobility impared people and it has at least four different entrances where you can park around for free. Also at one of the entrances you can find an information office, it's not always open, but they are very helpful. We really like it, it's a great park to go to with our without kids.
  • Great for a day/morning/afternoon out with the kids. Playground is good, restaurant is great with a varied menu. The walkways are paved so great for little ones that want to scoot or cycle. It's a beautiful park with beautiful views.
  • Kelsey Park is best during the winter when it's not so busy. Many people are still giving white bread to the birds. This is not good for them since they can't digest it. Brown bread nuts and salad are healthy options.
  • Wonderful park, well-funded and maintained. My son learned to walk there. Good cafe in the middle.
  • Great park, a lake, river, waterfalls and bridges. Plenty of seating with benches all around. A wonderful children's play area for all ages. Tennis courts and a mini golf make this a brilliant place for families.
