  • A very comprehensive history of the estate and family, we had a warm welcome and were guided around the premises by friendly staff located at various points.  more »
  • Marvellous house. Feels more personal than a lot of bigger country homes. Much nicer than Burghley House and much more interesting due to the Grounds, museum, monorail etc. Loved the portraits and...  more »
  • Although the house and its interior was very impressive and informative, as we approached the property the sign outside stated the names of actors and actresses working inside the house today - this.....  more »
  • Beautiful house with very interesting contents. I rarely go to stately homes that have such a person feel to them. The room with the artistic embroidery was my favourite. The gift shop isn't as expensive as many are and there were lots of lovely things - edible and otherwise. Highly recommended.
  • Large house but very accessible. Not a lot you can't touch. Informed staff. Topped off with falconry display on the lawn outside. Well worth a visit tied in with Beaulieu motor museum
  • Interesting house, attractive topiary garden, new annexe built for Russian art. The monorail trip is pleasant and gives a good view of the features of the gardens. The Car Museum is very complete - displaying from steam to Formula 1 cars, and motorcycles.
  • What a beautiful Palace House and to think that by one owner putting 3 cars actually in the house was the very reason the Museum started. And the grounds is just stunnning. Had a little trip on the mono rail which is fun. Go have fun! :)
  • Beautiful grounds. Visits can walk around most of the house. Period characters all around getting into their role with much enthusiasm!
