Beaulieu National Motor Museum reviews
Despite the torrential rain we really enjoyed our visit. Impressed with amount of cars etc to see compared to our last visit 8 years ago. Being able to go in the Palace was a huge bonus and really... more »
Very good. Very good information from the kitchen maid at the House. The gardens were lovely. The place was spotless. A few more benches to sit on would be nice. The lake was a bit green and low.... more »
Great visit. Covid arrangements meant no worries e.g one family per monorail carriage and one way systems in place. Coffee and lunch in cafe was good. The mill pond trail is a lovely walk to break up.... more »
We have visited the motor museum a few times now and have really enjoyed it. Its a big place so be prepared to be on your feet for a long time. Great range off cars and bikes and very interesting to see who they have changed over the years. My favourite part has to be the mad hatters tea party in the garden area. My son really enjoyed the train ride over the top off Gardens and through the museum itself. Would recommend if haven't been before.
Fab family day out. Booked on line to go next day. Staff very polite and friendly. About a 6 minute wait to get in. Not a massive place but big so if you're disabled or need help pre ordered your electric buggy or wheelchair before you go as they get booked out fast. Nice big picnic areas, cafe. Monorail and bus rides. Lots and lots of stunning vehicles on display. Beautiful garden at the house and an old Abbey ruin. Gift shop. I would recommend this place for a family day out for sure. I'll definitely go back again. Well done to all the staff for making our visit enjoyable.
Would have loved to spend more time here exploring the rest of the surroundings. The car museum was vast, and ven as a car lover I found myself getting a little car blind free a while. The lunchtime parade was great, and I really enjoyed chatting to the drivers who were so passionate about the vehicles. The monorail gave a taste of what else was available, but with 2 little petrol heads in toe I missed the chance to see the house and gardens.
Visited as staying close by on holiday. We had an amazing day. The kids enjoyed it just as much as the adults. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Lots of information about the cars on show. The kids enjoyed going round the different areas within the grounds obtaining the collectable cards - fabulous idea. Wish we lived closer so we could visit again soon.
What can you say .its a car museum. If you like cars you will go.you need all day there really.plenty to do for the kids as well. Historic vehicle rides.and the house and buildings worth a visit. Top Gear exhibition. Great day out with Granddaughter 8 yo.
