  • Where the elite once promenaded in the 18th century, the Parade Gardens are now a more public space, albeit one with an entrance fee. Pretty flowers and well-maintained.
  • Lovely park/gardens alongside the river. Make a point of finding the statue of the young man and the pig - very interesting story, the guides on the free tours will tell you all about him.
  • Even at the end of October, these gardens provided us with a restful walk before our journey home. They are not huge, but varied things to look at.

  • As usual you will never be disappointed when visiting Bath. Ideal place to relax after walking around this breathtaking city.
  • I love these gardens. Peaceful. Beautiful
  • At the edge of Bath’s old town on the banks of the River Avon is the Parade Gardens. The gardens get you up close and personal to the weir of Pulteney Bridge and would have been a beautiful vantage point. I was actually surprised that you’ll have to pay to get in, but I can understand the need for that, otherwise the beautiful park would have been overrun and its tranquility disturbed.
  • Lovely park where to spend an afternoon reading or just relaxing. Discounted for students. Can be really busy on weekends when the weather is nice but there's always a quiet corner to be found.
  • Picturesque gardens along the Avon. Small fee to enter, but absolutely worth it, and the ticket is valid all day.
