  • January is not the time of year for gardens to be at their best, but this one still looks neat and attractive, with well manicured lawns. It is just a small area, bordering the river, but it is a good ...  more »
  • I was looking forward to visit here for quite a while, managed to get the opportunity to for free one weekend this past December. Not sure what any fuss over this place might be about-just a few weird...  more »
  • Is full of parks, all well tended gardens where you can enjoy a moment of peace, take Sun, play with the kids, walking, etc. Both the Parade Gardens and the Royal (further) are worthy of being appreciated.

  • As usual you will never be disappointed when visiting Bath. Ideal place to relax after walking around this breathtaking city.
  • I love these gardens. Peaceful. Beautiful
  • At the edge of Bath’s old town on the banks of the River Avon is the Parade Gardens. The gardens get you up close and personal to the weir of Pulteney Bridge and would have been a beautiful vantage point. I was actually surprised that you’ll have to pay to get in, but I can understand the need for that, otherwise the beautiful park would have been overrun and its tranquility disturbed.
  • Lovely park where to spend an afternoon reading or just relaxing. Discounted for students. Can be really busy on weekends when the weather is nice but there's always a quiet corner to be found.
  • Picturesque gardens along the Avon. Small fee to enter, but absolutely worth it, and the ticket is valid all day.
