  • We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with our guide Adge. Bath is such a beautiful city and with Adge we enjoyed history and humour along the way. You will visit all the sights that you read about a...  more »
  • We booked a tour in advance for a group and got a private tour with Peter and Michael. Was entertaining and fun. Our group speaks all different levels of English and they were both easy to listen to, ...  more »
  • I had not visited Bath before and with a few hours to spare I thought I'd join the walking tour. It's free so there's nothing to lose. It was a very cold Saturday with an arctic wind but even so over ...  more »
  • If you find yourself in Bath, wondering what you will do, this is a great activity to take as, over a 2 hour walk, you will receive a great introduction to the city of Bath and its main features with, not only information on locations but also on the town's history from its foundations, going through the Roman occupation and also through the Georgian period, all while also learning about characters associated with the city itself, like Beau Nash, John Woods and legendary king Bladud, courtesy of the Mayor's Walks guides, all volunteers with a passion for the city's legacy but also a concern for the safety and comfort of all attending guests, a great plus indeed on days where the Sun poses a real danger, with the tours themselves being free (no caveats as the guides themselves cannot take tips). Just be sure to be at the meetup place at the expected times of start of the activity.
  • Absolutely fantastic tour, great guides all round but Adrian was great a passionate and knowledgeable guide - the best way to find your way around Bath with background information you would never find online. I’ve done a number of tours around the world but this one surpassed all, cannot tecommend too highly.
  • Tour guide, Jeremy, was as good as you can get, interested, intelligent, whitty, polite, very knowledgeable & patient!!!!!! We had a terrific morning all thanks to him and access to this free local service. Thank you so much.
  • Fantastic tour with David, who was knowledgeable, friendly and charasmstic. Highly recommended!
  • Amazing tour guides that give a 2 hour historical walk of the main attractions. It also free!
