  • Great exposure on the lace. I loved. We were two stylists of Montreal and we could stay there all day!

  • Went here with my wife as part of a trip to Bath, and was surprised how interesting it was. There were enough exhibits to make it feel like a 'proper' experience, but not so many as to get boring. My ...  more »

  • Very nice museum if you are interested in clothes through the ages. personally I found the earlier stuff much more fascinating than the modern things but there is something for everyone. And half way through you can dress up in period styled clothes. Great fun.
  • Very interesting! Great source of information about fashion and history of fashion. They also have quite nice restaurant serving cakes and good beer :)
  • This museum is a must visit if you are interested in studying cultural evolution. The collection is tasteful; the preservation and display, well done. The assembly rooms are very beautiful and the free tour of the galleries, highly recommend, especially if you like to add context to what you are seeing.
  • Great museum with a fabulous collection of antique fashion 🌟💗🌟
  • Well laid out without any one area being overwhelming. If you want to know more about the exhibit pieces, the plaques are informative, the audio guide giving a quick summary of the cases. Only problem is there is a lack of rotation in the exhibitions: if you have been once, your next visit will be pretty much the same. Quick tip: if you are a local and have a Discovery card, you get in for free!
