  • It's not a huge garden but nice to walk around on a summers day and if you are interested in plants and flowers. The walk to the gardens is very nice  more »

  • Beautiful, relaxing , well kept, clean gardens. Great for all ages, as there's wildlife and gorgeous plants to look at
  • Stunning gardens, absolutely beautiful in the sunshine and especially at spring when everything is just blooming
  • Beautiful botanical garden.
  • Around 9 acres of landscaped gardens. Weddings are often held in the available building as well as receptions, so areas are sometimes roped off for functions. Dogs allowed but MUST BE ON A LEAD something many people sadly ignore! Popular with parents with toddlers in the Summer , with plenty of grass to lay out your picnic! Beautiful even in Winter. The gardeners deserve a mention as they work hard keeping the gardens up to scratch, so a big thank you to them. Large pond, with waterfall has been out of action for past few years. I suspect budget cuts might well be to blame? Photo of the stump of what was, UK's biggest Lime Tree. Over 30 metres tall with a 1.8 metre trunk diameter.
  • Played here as a child and now I visit with my own family. Gardens can be stunning
