  • Great time here, spent over four hours in the museum and quilt exhibition. Still didn't manage to see all of the gardens. The American heritage section was particularly well laid out and very interesting.
  • Fascinating collection that helps you understand and appreciate the making of and history if America. Fabulous setting - gardens are beautiful with amazing views. Reasonably priced restaurant with interesting food.
  • Great little museum with a lot of interesting history. The volunteers knowledge and interaction made it even more interesting. Grounds and garden's are well kept.
  • I had to rush around the museum because I have an impatient toddler, but it gets 5 stars for the garden alone - absolutely stunning and so well kept, and what a view! Just a lovely place to visit, whether you want to learn about American history or not!!
  • A lovely way to spend an afternoon. Plentiful parking and beautiful gardens. The museum is well laid out with artifacts set out as 'rooms' so you can really get a sense of how they were used. The quilts and textile room were of particular interest to me and well worth the money.
