  • Had been looking forward to visiting here for ages. Found it very disappointing, the room sets were no different to any stately home, it really wasn’t American enough ! I’d love to have seen a wagon t...  more »

  • Lovely museum with lots of fascinating displays. The grounds and gardens are well maintained and provide amazing views. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. This place is well worth a visit.
  • Great place to walk around and take the kids. We did the day of the dead walk and the girls all got a prize at the end of it. Lovely views.
  • Very pretty and lots to see, helps if you go on a nice day though, just so you can see the gardens. Lovely cafe to.
  • I had never heard of this place but it was well worth a visit. Beautiful building and gardens and fascinating exhibitions. Excellent cafe and shop. We really enjoyed the visit.
  • This is a fantastic museum and a tourist attraction you should not missed if you are visiting Bath; funny enough I have been to Bath so many times and didn’t even know this wonderful place existed. There is so much to see, do and learn about the American history; I particularly like the fact that they celebrate their success as a county but also highlight the fact and horrors lived by the Native Americans on the hand of the new settlers and the despicable and shameful period when America supported slavery! I really enjoyed my visit to the American Museum and I highly recommend it.
