  • visited for the first time today, first impressions were, its a good size, with a variety of gifts and books, small selection of fresh baked biscuits, cakes and some preserves. reasonable selection of gardening tools, and small selection of dog toys and treats, minimal selection of bird feed. looked round outside at the statues and garden ornaments, sadly these looked old and tired as if you were in an elderly relatives garden, not much to choose from on the plant front, the outside ice cream sales hut was closed and shut down for the season, looked like it had been shut down in a hurry, bit disorganized and scruffy. with chairs and tables badly stacked. the fish/pond area wasnt very inviting and a bit of a half harted attempt, sadly had to use the gents toilets, they are tired and nothing wrong with that, but the cleanliness was very poor, both wc cubicles were filthy, along with chewing gum in one of the urinals, wash basins were filthy with dirty water on the worktops, if you cant keep the basics clean, i wasnt going to risk the tea room/cafe, unfortunately there wont be a second visit to many good ones out there, conkers need to take a look at redfields in church crookham
  • Very friendly approachable staff. The cafe has a decent sized selection. Very good food.
  • Conkers has reasonable prices in comparison to a lot of other garden centres, the store is a good size with a wide selection of plants and other things such as giftware- very different to most garden centres. The cafe is a lovely size with outside seating for good weather. Prices are good and all food is made with fresh stock.
  • Great local garden centre. Wide selection of garden and home decor products.
  • Was pleasantly suprised. Really good food and service. New owners making an effort?
