  • A very interesting building now filled with lots of different craft shops. Lovely to see the historic building persevered.
  • I often avoid vegetarian food, but the Gardener's pie here today was very tasty. An old rope works that has been converted into a haven for the arts with a great little coffee shop / restaurant. Individual.
  • I really enjoy my visits to the rope walk and the nearby nature reserve. The walk along the Humber always blows the cobwebs away! The cafe is very pleasant and the shop full of original pieces of work. I am visiting today to have a picture framed (I have always found the service very good). It occurred to me that it would be a good addition to the complex if they sold a range of art supplies as well. Today I will be on the hunt for conte crayon pencils in Barton!
  • Brilliant venue to visit and show .
  • A very interesting place with a superb cafe where delicious food is served. My visit there to buy a piece of artwork was spoilt by an extremely unhelpful woman in the picture framing department. I was hoping for expert advice on what type of frame to choose for the artwork, but the humourless lady made it quite clear she wasn't at all interested in being helpful. I took my business elsewhere and found a very helpful picture framing service who did all they could to produce a suitable frame for the artwork. Dear lady, I'm sorry I interrupted your conversation with another member of staff. It must have been very imprtant
  • Great food. The paninis are really nice. Great walks after ward to the Barton edge visitors centre.
