  • Wonderful if you like narrow boats, there are hundreds, all shapes and sizes. Shopping and a cinema. Plenty of places to eat. Some good walks around the ponds with good amount of wildlife. Well worth a half day visit?
  • Good walking area and retail outlets. Parking, toilets, numerous eating places and a cinema (cosy) not multi screen. Cannot be reached from the canal unless you are on a boat. Entrance is via road but a pavement is present. Dog walking is permitted.
  • Nice place to visit. Wildlife reserve, lakes. Good dog walking. Up market shopping. Food. Coffee. Pub. Clothing. A bit of everything.
  • A curious collection of restaurants, speciality shops and a small cinema, beside a mooring for a large number of narrowboats. Can be very busy, so it probably has more going for it than I can see.
  • Pleasant staff.Put your own milk and sugar in your drink so it's just right.Scrambled egg with tomato and mushrooms on toast is second to none! Recommended for any one who wants a break and good cuppa.
