  • Lovely place to visit, nice tea room, good food and dog friendly outside. The staff were friendly and we had a really nice day.
  • Very interesting NT property with lots to see and do. The house has been decorated for Christmas and there is a 'treasure hunt' for the Twelve Days of Christmas, which is very well done. There is a dr...  more »

  • Went here for my first time. It was a very lovely place. The carriages where nice to look at. It's a nice place to stroll around looking for a few hours. It has a place you can have a coffee and food. The house was very interesting and had plenty of history. Will go there again for sure.
  • Beautiful place. Great place for kids with some excellent outdoor play areas build into the woods. Will go back happily without even going in the building. Good walks.
  • Beautiful setting with lovely walks, house, carriage museum and the best cakes. Nice to sit and relax with a cuppa and watch the peacocks strutting about and the small birds being very cheeky clearing all the crumbs up from the tables.
  • Highly recommend as a family day out, lovely kept gardens and the woollen woods were a highlight.
  • The visit was good despite the bad weather, but I did not like having two buggies being pushed around the interior of the house and getting in the way of the many visitors there. It should not be allowed. Why can't parents carry their kids and leave the buggies in their cars? Why should the general public have to put up with their laziness?
