  • I was not too impressed with the beach area of Barmouth, but this part with the harbour, bridge and promenade with pubs, restaurants and cafe is much more attractive as it leads to the Bar Estuary.
  • Fantastic views over the Mawdach estuary to the mountains beyond. A good selection of cafés pubs and restaurants nearby and plenty to do and see regardless of the weather.
  • Been coming here since the '70s. One of Britain's great retreats. Brilliant scenery and walks. Always a joy 😂. Lovely drive from London too........
  • Love the place, great day out every time I go! Even the tourists are friendly!
  • The sand is awesome, has this white fluffy mediterranean feel to it. Love that little places like this still exist. There is a ferry to Fairbourne, be sure to check that out as links to the railway..
  • Brilliant place. Really peaceful, tidy and beautiful. Would live in the area if I could!
