  • The harbour is very picturesque unlike, however, a few hundred yards away where there is a fairground. Try Davy Jones' Locker for good food. Always extremely popular, but especially so in good weather when you can sit outside overlooking the river and harbour. And dogs welcome inside as well as out.
  • Nice beach with a fantastic harbour and nice clear, clean water. Nice views all around. Everything is quite close as it's not a big place, they have a mini Iceland, co-op etc. Plenty parking further down the promenade. Traffic was heavy heading in and took an hour of queuing, it was a hot bank holiday weekend so should be expected. Tourist hotspot, I prefer quieter places but would defo go again.
  • Can't fault Barmouth. I used to to live there. Always love going back.

  • Barmoutg Harbour is really pretty with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. You can get a ferry across to the other side of the estuary. There is a chip shop on the main road. Get your chips from here then walk along the harbour and find a bench. There is a great view of the bridge from the harbour.
