  • I can see why this would be a popular beach holiday in the summer, but on a cold, foggy winters day, it is a less charming place. Still, lots of people were milling around and frequenting all the cafe...  more »
  • The harbour is very picturesque, sit by the harbour and look over the bridge to the mountains. Look the other way and it's open sea, a great place to watch the sunset. You can look across to Fairbourn...  more »

  • We stopped here on our travels across Wales to get the dog out of the car for a bit.. There was a great hustle bustle along the beach, amusements, donkey rides, kite flying and various events, though we stayed on the promenade and observed. Was a lovely part of Barmouth to see.
  • Lovely beach and natural area. Spent a day in barmouth and it was lovely. All we wanted was some sun. Lots of shops, cafes and places to eat. Large car park on Sea front but it is cash only.
  • Fantastic views over the Mawdach estuary to the mountains beyond. A good selection of caf├ęs pubs and restaurants nearby and plenty to do and see regardless of the weather.
  • Nice and clean. Busy so not easy to find car park space
  • Excellent beach and views with things for all the family
