  • It has it all. It's very easy to get to with good roads. There's a toilet block near the main large car Park, but is never very clean. There's also clean toilets in the main reception centre that also has a cafe. There are plenty of paths through the forest, a few large open green meadows, a waterfall, streams and a beach with a lough shore path that go's miles. They use a colour code for the paths. Red means that Dogs are not aloud, Orange means that Dogs are aloud but must be on a lead and green means freedom, Dogs of lead. If someone is scared of dogs then stay away from the green zones.
  • Lovely country park that has a great view over the Irish Sea and a great café. Great walks all over the grounds. Usually call in if walking the north down coastal path for their delicious hot chocolate.
  • Beautiful beaches and woodland walks. Accessible by parking in the actual country park or at the car park at Helen's Bay. For the more energetic the walk from Bangor to Hollywood is well worth it (and get the train back!)
  • Spent a day there during our annual 1 week of sunshine in Northern Ireland. Beach easily accessible, great walks with plenty of car parking in a beautiful part of North Down. Only let down by lazy, selfish people who insist on leaving there rubbish behind on the beach.
  • Such a beautiful place weather its a walk on the beach or through the glen. i love getting down to walk my dog and take some pictures. The work they are continuously doing is improving the park everytime i visit there is something new to look at. Love it here.
