  • Excellent car parking and cafe. Why no walk along the coastal path from Bangor. Good beach access and good walks around the park. Dog friendly
  • Fresh air, sea, beach, forest, glen, something for everyone. Unwind in the beautiful nature, away from the city hustle and bustle.

  • Spent a day there during our annual 1 week of sunshine in Northern Ireland. Beach easily accessible, great walks with plenty of car parking in a beautiful part of North Down. Only let down by lazy, selfish people who insist on leaving there rubbish behind on the beach.
  • Such a beautiful place weather its a walk on the beach or through the glen. i love getting down to walk my dog and take some pictures. The work they are continuously doing is improving the park everytime i visit there is something new to look at. Love it here.
  • Beautiful beaches and woodland walks. Accessible by parking in the actual country park or at the car park at Helen's Bay. For the more energetic the walk from Bangor to Hollywood is well worth it (and get the train back!)
  • Wonderful park with varied views and terrain. I felt the signposting to the various walks and on the walks themselves was completely inadequate as were the maps available in the visitor centre which cut off in places.
  • Favourite place to observe the Irish Sea. Great walks. Bank holidays can be busy. Oh if you have a dog, keep it on a lead.
