  • Good forestry walks and beach for family a bit over populated by young drinkers at peak BBQ times. Needs more picnic benches and seating at beach green. No bins pity as is otherwise a great area.
  • Lovely place for a walk, woodland walk to waterfall is not very buggy friendly and one path was closed due to tree felling forcing us to climb a fair amount of steps but we were determined and got there in the end. The effort was worth it. Very peaceful and quiet. Lovely beaches, and well keep grass areas. Lots of dogs, not on leads, and the odd bit of poo. Lots of free parking. I went to the visitors centre on arrival in the hope of obtaining a map but there wasn't one member of staff in the sight. Only cafe staff. I found two maps but these were difficult to read, one not detailed at all and is a photocopy of what I can only assume is the park brochure, the other hand drawn by a 3 year old. Paths have clearly changed since these were made and lots of paths not on the maps. I would of thought such a big park would have an official map clearly showing location of attractions and ALL paths. With useless map in hand I ventured into the unknown only to find further difficulty with directions around the park. Signage was missing in lots of places and your left wondering which way now. As you come out of the visitors centre there is a clear sign pointing you in different directions, but after that, your more or less on your own! Nevertheless we had a lovely time in the park, and eventually found our way around. Will visit again, great day out.
  • Love this park. Nice quiet and peaceful. Have ample space for parking and barbecue. There is beach next to it is bonus
  • Lovely place to go. Good walks on the sea or up into the woods. Plenty of parking and nice clean facilities. Running trail, wild flower meadow and great coastal walk. Then retire to the Inn in Crawfordsburn for refreshments.
  • Spent the last two days here having bbq s with all the family and our dogs. .such a fab place with everything you need in just one place .. just gets better every year 😎
