  • Historic ruins aren't much to see, but it's a fun walk out to the island and the visitor center folks are very knowledgeable
  • A place you have to visit if on Islay. The history is so important to this region
  • How could they rule into the 16th century when the raid was 1494?
  • Nice looking spot where you can spend some time while resting between distillery tours.
  • Piece and quiet between a few distillery tours were refreshing. The nature was stunning. With good weather you have a nice view too. Most impressive is, however, for how long this place was inhabited.
