  • Tucked away up a side road. Good value for money and lots to read, learn and admire. Worth a visit. We went on a rainy day and probably wouldn't have otherwise so a good find.
  • Very nice small museum. Super friendly ladies and reasonable price for entry. Interesting history of one of the oldest houses in Bakewell.
  • Great little museum or house of many treasures, well worth the walk to get to,and greeted by a fantastic building, staff really know their stuff and we're able to help with questions asked.Keep your eyes out for Winston the friendliest cat in Bakewell🐱
  • Pop in here from time to time for lunch.... haha OK so thanks to the owner of the museum commenting on this post I realise that i had written my review for a pub I go to with the same name as the museum. So I have never just popped in here for lunch as they do not have a cafe, I have been in a couple of times and enjoyed a friendly welcome and find the history of the building quite fascinating. A good range of displays with changes from year to year. Thank-you Old House Museum for highlighting my mistake.
  • A great little knowledge hub for a quaint little village in the peak district. Many old and rear artifacts about the history of the area and information about the way things were. Successions are available for carers. We paid only £10 for a group of four of us. Building is on two floors.
