We took our little boy, who is 16 months old , and LOVES animals. Having been to a few places like this before I didn't expect we'd be able to see much and it would be lots of pointing at a far away c... read more »
OK so good points, reasonable price, great to see variety of animals, play park/sand pit, go-karts, train/trailer ride all good. Walk around the perimeter path is pleasant but a bit dull. Great rope s... read more »
We had looked on a website called "Days out with kids" That had the prices at £5pp. When we got to the farm it was more expensive. I explained to the owner that we thought it was £5. He looked at the ... read more »
Firstly it was time to feed the little lambs and my daughter who is 12 didn't even get given a bottle yet they would happily give a 30ish year old woman a feeding bottle! Me & my daughter went on the ride and in the field was a shovel which is harmful to the animals that were in that field! The price was £7.25 which is so expensive for a petting farm & the bags weren't even included, I honestly think this is very over priced! The only reason why it wasn't a 1 star was because there is a wide range of animals.
Took our 16 month old granddaughter and had a fabulous time. Really well organised with loads of friendly animals all kept in fantastic enclosures. Very welfare friendly! Planning a return visit soon.
Went Monday 5th October 2015, it was a bit wet but thought we'd try it anyway.... Firstly 7.25 per adult is ridiculous for what's there ... Compare to Suffolk's Jimmy's farm which is 4 quid and has a LOT more to do. We went up the goat tower to feed the goats (20p per handful) but when coming down the very small steps (I'm size 10/11) I slipped all the way down, have big bruises on my back and side, was just so embarassed we went home. The one positive that meant I didn't give 1 star was the lovely friendly goat wandering about the farm and the massive sandpit Suggest going when the weather is good and if they reduce their prices!
We have been visiting for the last 12 years I think we enjoy it just as much if not more than the kids do we never get bored and theres always something new to see and do and whatever your budget is there's enough there to fill a whole day if not longer
