  • We love this place, it's brilliant for young and old. Feeding the lambs is a joy and watching the little children do this is really funny. They have a lovely cafe and gift shop, you can spend as long ...  more »

  • Great hands on farm, petting and feeding very accessible even for little tinie ones :-) Guinea Pigs and cows a firm favourite, along with the piglets running around. There's a nice walk down to the lake and round to pigs, circling back passed the lamas and wallabies! Fantastic park and activities for older kids, rope swing, kart ride, climbing frames, slide and swings all over - slide great for adults too ;-) Cafe and other facilities okay, meets needs and clean. Flapjack tasty. Coffee okay. Healthy children's lunch box. I'd take a picnic next time as lots of benches and have an icecream as the treat :-) would recommend.
  • This is must for families (especially with young children) as there is so much to do and see. Mark, the owner welcomed us and gave us all sorts of advice on our own guinea pigs. Our only regret was that we should have got there earlier as our 7 and 9yo boys wanted to do everything simultaneously. This is a real hands on farm and compared with a number of other places we have visited was all very reasonably priced. We only live about 15m away and wish we'd known about it sooner. All the staff were very friendly and happy to chat about the animals. The kids love to see and hold guinea pigs and little chicks quite apart from play areas, walks and many other animals and birds too. There are rides for all ages and a nice cafe - what more could you want!!
  • Firstly it was time to feed the little lambs and my daughter who is 12 didn't even get given a bottle yet they would happily give a 30ish year old woman a feeding bottle! Me & my daughter went on the ride and in the field was a shovel which is harmful to the animals that were in that field! The price was £7.25 which is so expensive for a petting farm & the bags weren't even included, I honestly think this is very over priced! The only reason why it wasn't a 1 star was because there is a wide range of animals.
  • Went Monday 5th October 2015, it was a bit wet but thought we'd try it anyway.... Firstly 7.25 per adult is ridiculous for what's there ... Compare to Suffolk's Jimmy's farm which is 4 quid and has a LOT more to do. We went up the goat tower to feed the goats (20p per handful) but when coming down the very small steps (I'm size 10/11) I slipped all the way down, have big bruises on my back and side, was just so embarassed we went home. The one positive that meant I didn't give 1 star was the lovely friendly goat wandering about the farm and the massive sandpit Suggest going when the weather is good and if they reduce their prices!
  • Took our 16 month old granddaughter and had a fabulous time. Really well organised with loads of friendly animals all kept in fantastic enclosures. Very welfare friendly! Planning a return visit soon.
