A worthwhile attraction year round, the falls’ volume is even more impressive after rainy weather. Enjoy the scenery with a walk along well-marked trails, surrounded by plant and animal life. • Nice gentle walk on good paths. Some steep bits down to the Riverside in places. Cam be extended if you want a longer walk to include Bolton Castle. Good parking which you can pay by cash or card. Gift shop and toilets at car park too. A nice day out. We'll worth a visit.
  • Great spot. Bring money for the car park. There is a nice cafe and visitors centre. Lovely walks around the falls themselves. Pub close by if you fancy a drink after a walkabout. Lots of dogs.
  • Just wow! So beautiful, it speaks for itself really, the natural beauty of the falls are magnificent. We visited the Mill Race Tearoom, which was on the bridge, the food was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. A lovely clean and beautifully decorated cafe, selling local produce. Very reasonably priced too. The walks around the falls were picturesque and there was no litter to be seen. The visitor centre was not yet open for the season but there are information boards which are informative and helpful. I came here as a child and remember being bowled over then, 30 years later it is still an awe inspiring place to visit. Needless to say I won't be leaving it another 30 years, we will be back in the summer with a picnic!
  • Fantastic waterfalls to go and visit, the walk takes you both above and below the paying carpark. There are several waterfalls within a short stretch with a well laid path guiding you between them. This walk is suitable for all ages with benches along the way.
  • Lovely waterfalls and well worth a visit. Nice walk to the 3 levels Upper, middle & lower falls. We saw them after the snow so they were spectacular with lots of water and amazing icicles. Would recommend the Old Mill Cafe down on the bridge for lunch, lovely homemade soup, scones and cakes.
