  • Drive to the visitor centre. From there you can walk to Upper, middle and lower falls. Heavy rain before meant the falls were in full throttle. Good viewing areas for pictures.  more »

  • Beautiful place to visit. Well sign posted for and eady to follow. There is a visitor centre with a nice little cafe for a bite to eat and a hot or cold drink. Gifts can be purchased there too. The waterfalls are stunning. Always seams very clean and tidy.
  • A fabulous place to visit if you like rushing water and photographic opportunities. A good place to walk between the upper, middle and lower falls, and situated in the most beautiful Yorkshire Dale's. An excellent well stocked and friendly gift shop. Park in the Visitors Centre rather than the pub car park.
  • Aysgarth falls is amazing year round. Come after rain to see the falls at their best, or some in the middle of summer after a dry spell and really explore the falls and all its little rocky outcrops. You can even get up close to the falls in the dryer seasons. There are many picnic tables dotted around and a great grassy area for kids to run around and play in. The loop walk is a great walk and allows you to see the lower and mid falls, with some great view points
  • Parking: there is a decent sized car park. Please make sure, while using navigation, to search for the car park, not the falls itself! The car park has a machine, which went mad while accepting payment by contactless card. Keep some change. If you are looking for a quick trip, 2 hours for £2.50 is okay. The car park gets full very quickly. (There is another big open paid private parking nearby on the other side of the road, which has a cafe) Falls: not a long walk. Could be bit muddy of it rained. It has three parts, upper, middle and lower. Upper is must see. A very short walk. For accessing the middle and lower part, you have to go to main road, cross it and go the other side. Toilets: available and free.
  • As featured in Robin Hood Prince if Thieves (cultural reference for the over 40s) these spectacular waterfalls are a must see if you’re in the northern Dale’s. The nearby National Park centre has a good cafe and shop. You have to pay for parking and it’s a few hundred metres to walk to the falls. One of the few places in the Dales that is much better to visit during or after heavy rain!
