Heads of Ayr Farm Park, Ayr

4.5
#1 of 30 in Outdoors in Ayrshire
Farm Tourist Spot
Take on the assault course, giant sand pit, trampolines, even four-wheel motorbiking at Heads of Ayr Farm Park. The park offers four-wheel motorbikes for people of all ages: small tandems for adults with young children; child-sized bikes for those between 7-11; and adult-sized bikes for people over 12 years old. As the kids play in the adventure barn, relax with a coffee and a snack while keeping an eye on them. Visit the animal barn with almost 50 different types of animals including monkeys, lemurs, and meerkats. Although not exclusively for families, be aware that mainly families--and therefore children--visit the park. • Great place for kids, alot of animals to see around the park and you can feed some animals but only the ones that eat grass it's 50p a bag. Also there's play area's inside and outside so it's better coming here early so you can spend all day here. Food was quite dear £13.50 for 2 toasties and 2 coffee's which were in small cups. Next time we go we'll be taking our own food and drink.
  • Great day out, I live local so it's fairly handy. Prices aren't too bad for food but there's plenty of places to sit to take a pack lunch too. Plenty of animals and having been a few times over the years there always seems to be new attractions or facilities every year. Nice to see as some places just seem to take your money and pocket it so it's nice to see it invested in the place.
  • Great family day out. Lots to see and do. Good food choices and rides and activities for a range of ages.
  • Not cheap but worth the money. Animals and other things are good for the kids. There's also picnic area's
  • Great day out for the family. Plenty of animals and activities. Would get five stars if a little bit cheaper.
