  • I visit this venue a great deal, being an amatuer photographer and also being a local person. It is ideal for families, dog walking and being at one with nature.  more »

  • This is a lovely and well kept Country Park. The grounds are stunning and there are many activities to do throughout the year. Parking costs £3 for 4+ hours, but you can see that it is money well spent. There are many lakes around, to fish or to feed the birds. Many different species of birds can be found. The visitor centre sells bags of bird food for £1. The visitor centre is open until 4pm, it has a little cafe inside and some toilets too. There is plenty of parking but can get busy during peak seasons. There is plenty to do, with many different paths to take through the park. Everyone is friendly, it is great for families.
  • This place is a really fun place to go and explore. Whether you want to feed the ducks, play with the kids or dogs, or just to stretch your legs. This place offers the standard dirt path walks or you can be a bit more adventurous and explore off the path! There are several trails laid out around the park but I have never followed any of them.
  • Absolutely lovely, natural beauty. My dog and I are most happy doing a 2h walk in complete privacy
  • Nice place to take the kids for a walk, has various clubs and activities during the year. Small shop and toilet facilities on site. Choice of 2 fishing lakes. Would be 5 stars but parking charges put it down to 4.
  • Lovely woodland area, great for walks with the little one and very well kept. The staff in the visitor centre are also very friendly and helpful.
