  • Beautiful walks around Wetland with lots of birds to be seen from the mainly wheelchair paths and a couple of hides to sit and watch at a couple of interesting places. Good access to an interesting visitors center with interactive displays, live specimens to see and knowledgeable friendly genuinely interested staff to answer questions. Also tea room with gift shop. Had a good day and would love to go again.
  • Peace and quiet on the door step, plus a stylish cafe and polite informative staff. A host of nature species to be spotted beautiful common and less common birds here in abundance. Plus free spacious car parking. I recommend you take your camera and binoculars ,and comfortable shoes or boots, you can watch and walk or perhaps take your bicycle as there are miles of paths and trails to cover, all without the hindrance of motor vehicles. A real must for the nature lovers of all ages.
  • A nice quiet place for a walk around several lakes and ponds and a perfect place to feed the birds. Which on the way in if you visit the pet store at the retail park has cheap bird seed for them. The site itself has a few different paths to choose depending on the length of your stay or the distance your willing to walk. Along the walks themselves there are several places to stop and observe the scenery or do some bird watching.
  • Child friendly welcoming centre. Site is safe and well maintained. Educational packages for visits good. Choice of souvenirs good price range and good variety. Cafe reasonably priced. Ice cream van on site. Parking reasonable amount.
  • Relaxed place to enjoy the wildlife, blackberries and walks around this area. Take the kids to feed the ducks, geese and swans (to). Mandarin ducks a favourite with the family. Visitor centre is inviting with a good food-and-drink-menu. Good little shop too which includes the usual stuff but also includes quality binoculars for sale (Opticron). No doubt we will be back again soon.
