  • Free activity apart from the car park. The museum was well thought out. Saw the outbuildings with the big machines too. Kept the children interested....especially making the banners on the computer. Children craft activity was good. Nice little park for primary children. Train ride great, cheap too.
  • Great permanent exhibition with regular smaller exhibitions, and free entry beyond the reasonable car park charges.
  • It was nice to see the old mine and its history, would have been given 3 stars, if had to pay, but you only pay for the parking
  • Attended for invasion 7. Not a big place but plenty going on. Parking was £3.50 so very reasonable.
  • The kids always have a grate day!! Loads todo and see. I would like to thank you to the man who drives the train to QE park. He has gray combed back hair. I can not remember his name.He is an amazing man. Very kind and genuine. He really did make our visit! He took the time to talk to us about engines and trains and our children loved him and he's story's. I will honestly say we will never ever forget him and wish him well. He is definitely a gem of Woodhorn musiam!
