We've got a family annual ticket so it only costs us the petrol money to get here. Even in December it's a great experience for the kids who just love the adventure trails. They were so energetic that... more »

Great family day. Worth the money if you like outdoor activities. There are some indoor things to do if it's raining. Enough to keep imaginations running. Is accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. However I personally would recommend the bigger chairs to ensure you can take them off the main paths. There is open deep water too, so keep a close eye on the little ones.
Had a brilliant day out with two boisterous boys. Plenty to keep them entertained. Loved the falconry exhibit as you were able to hold a bird on your hand! Also go on good weather day else you'll miss out on all the outside activities, we spent most of our time outside as there was so much to do! A few of tips though, take and use insect repellent especially in the forest areas (bitten by mossies multiple times. Wouldn't stop us going again). And take your own packed lunch as there are plenty of picnic tables and restaurant a little pricey if on a budget. Also toilets, use them when you see them as once in the forest it could take a while to get to them again.
Indoor attractions not maintained, but the real treat is the outdoor stuff, it is what you make of it, as an adult the outdoor attractions were not all that great but remember this is all set up for kids, and they loved it, loads of space to run around and surrounding woods and countryside is fabulous to bike around, all in all a great couple of days, please update the indoor stuff as this would make the whole experience that much better
I went with college and although there was selected activities it was still really good. We went round with this man, as it was really muddy when my group went I slipped and fell on my bum and as I was disabled at the time I couldn't get up that easily but the kind man helped me up and allowed me to wipe my muddy hands on his coat
AS CONKERS TOOK MY REVIEW OFF THEIR REVIEW BOARD IM PUTTING IT BACK ON HERE. OH MY DAYS WHAT CAN I SAY BUT I WOULD STAY AT IF I WERE YOU. I WOULD SAY THE PLACE KNOCKING DOWN AND REBUILDING. IS IN SUCH A SHABBY STATE. I EVEN NOTICED IN LARGE PLAY AREA ALL THE STEPS ON THE CLIMBING FRAME WERE TAPED TOGETHER WITH BLACK STICKY TAPE. BENCHES WERE FALLING APART AND DIFFERENT PEOPLE WONDERING IF THEY WERE SAFE TO SIT ON. IT LOOKS SO OLD AND UNATTRACTIVE WITH THE WOOD CRUMBLING AWAY. AS FOR SENSORY GARDEN. IV BEEN MORE EXCITED OPENING A BOX OF CORN FLAKES. IS THAT THE BEST YOU COULD DO OR ARE ALL HE IDEAS FROM A LOCAL NURSERY. TO HONEST THEY WOULD HAVE HAD BETTER IDEAS. IM SURE IF MY KIDS RUBBED THEIR HANDS ALONG MY GARDEN FENCE THEY WOULD HAVE HAD A BETTER THRILL THAN THAT SO CALLED SENSORY GAREN. THE ONLY THING WE ENJOYED THE TRAIN RIDE. THANK GOD WE ONLY GOT THIS ON WOWCHER FOR £10. FROM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED FAMILY AND THEIR RESPONSE TO ME WAS VERY RUDE. AND THEY TOOK MY REVIEW OFF THEIR WEB SITE.
