  • Well run campsite with super friendly and helpful staff. The pitches are spacious and the on site attractions, both included in the price and the ones you can choose to pay more for were great. It is very clear in the literature what is included and what is extra. Fabulous destination for families. Shower facilities are quite basic and in need of modernisation to make it a 5 star facility. Would have been handy to know that some of the pitches are quite uneven before arriving so we could have been equipped to have our caravan level but it certainly did not detract from our enjoyment of the park or camping site.
  • I'm sure this is a great campsite as entry must be included, however, it is unbelievably overpriced for day visitors. We paid almost £30 just for entry only to discover the only thing we could use without paying even more was the park... and not even a great park in all honesty. Our son (aged 10) had decided before we got there that he'd like to do the high ropes which the leaflet suggested would be fine but when we went to pay for it (£15) we were told they have the insurance for age 10 but really it's for older kids 15+ so dad would probably have to go with him to make sure he didnt get stuck putting it up to £30 so we had a disappointed child. The staff were all miserable and I had the meanest serving of ice cream for £3 I've ever had in my life. We aren't tight and we aren't poor but we do still understand value for money and this is not it! If you have plenty of cash to spare there are much better places to go for this type of money, otherwise go to the beach, a park or even a pub garden would be just as good for free.
  • Lovely spot but parking and entry and activities add up take a picnic and go for whole day. Fun for all the family.
  • Epic place for a sunny day out with the family. Lots of watery fun and great walks with the dog too.
  • Gutted we where really looking forward to going, Lovely place and I think it would be unfair to say we didn't enjoy the day, however consider it to be very expensive as more than half of all activities are charged separately for. To advertise most things as 'dare devil' activities which excludes.... (take a big breath) the zip wire, the high ropes course, the water zorbing, the indoor climbing wall, canoeing and even the little kids bouncy castle? Kids left feeling a bit let down after telling them that's not included all day. The other stuff was ok at best but nothing really more than a good free park wouldn't tick or a spot of wild swimming. I would recommend either make it free and charge for everthing or charge more on the door and have everything included, would be happier with either but don't try and do both. At the very minimum at least open a few more things up; the kids bouncy castle might be a good place to start. Ps the coffee in the huts is also crap and would someone who works there please try and slide down the Anaconda slide and try to make it out without climbing to the bottom.
