  • Had a great day out here something for everyone to enjoy, and very reasonably priced admission when compared with big company attractions. Particularly enjoyed my inexpensive lunch of Freshly homemade Chicken and Bacon pie delicious
  • Different and quirky museum enriched by the team of friendly and helpful volunteers. Going there is akin to going down a Super Mario pipe - it feels like a different world lost in the quarry valley. Lots of interactive exhibits make for entertained kids.
  • Just got home from such a lovely day out here, there is so much for you to do and our 3yr old loved it so it's great for those with children. The weather was lovely, staff are so friendly especially a lady called Ann Fisher our daughter loved her and this lovely lady let our daughter be the flag waver for the train every time we went on. Absolutely stunning place. Defo a place to visit.
  • Fantastic day out enough to keep you entertained all day great for family's unfortunately when we went a fair few of the exhibits weren't running due to it seems a lack of volunteers which is a shame
  • Partial success. The place relies on volunteer craftsman to make this living museum come alive. The problem is that most have died off so we found only a very craftsmen shops open. Which made the trip a bust but we did enjoy talking to the pile lathe guy.
