  • Tranquil place to visit that is teeming with wildlife. Beautiful area of the Purbecks which we love going to as relatively local. We live on the edge of the New Forest and have seen more deer here at Arne than on our doorstep.
  • A very well organised and run RSPB sanctuary with some great walks and good views of Poole and the harbour. Take time to stroll up to Arne village and the little church. A very good cafe has recently opened.
  • A beautiful and tranquil site that we didn't know existed before it was on Autumn Watch.
  • Beautiful place for a wander, didn't see that many birds but there were a few deer!
  • Perfect for widely ranging environments, such as heathland, ponds, beach, mudflats and woodlands.
