  • Great place , informative but in a way that will keep children interested for an afternoon . The fort itself is stunning from the top
  • Not good at all. Very dull. Didn't learn much and the info screens didn't work. Staff are nice and the cafe is good too.
  • Super place to visit as the mist rises above the surrounding countryside. The seat of the ancient kings of Ireland, there's nothing obtrusive or touristy about the visitor centre which is enclosed in ...  more »

  • Navan Fort was one of my favorite experiences in Ireland. The visitors center was completely unexpected. They have all sorts of information on the mythology surrounding the area, an Iron Age replica village, and an amazing gift shop that was chock full of books. The fort itself was beautiful, calm, quiet, and there weren't alot of visitors, which was a nice change of pace.
  • Great reasonably priced gift shop. Tons of culture. Great day for anyone curious about local history or for families with young kids
  • Its a nice place, has a lot to offer for a reasonable price, although my impressions are that the audio guide information is chaotic (you see maps that you dont know what they represent, it's hard to realise what century audio guide refers too). I might have been unlucky with what I chose to listen to, but it's not in any particular order. This place seems to be more for children than adults.
  • Staff incredible with kids entertaining knowledgeable informative and period dress the site it's self is not clearly sign posted from visitor centre to fort.
  • Loved my visit here, Great fun .Best place to go in Armagh
