  • I became interested in Astronomy quite some time ago, and I was overjoyed when I finally got the chance to visit this planetarium! The place itself is very interesting with a lot of rocket / satellite replica and miniatures! Overall I reckon this would be a nice place to visit with your family member, especially if you or your family member is interested in astronomy. You can also buy some interesting souvenirs from the shop!
  • Enjoyable experience with lots to see including a meteorite weighing 22 stones! The Planetarium shows have really high production values and would be suitable for adults and children alike. Loved the astro park too with its scale models and the cube. Has to be seen to be appreciated. Staff are really pleasant and informative, making the visit even more worthwhile. The only negative is the understocked coffee shop- more like a tuck shop, with no options for lunch, even sandwiches. Overall still deserves full marks - just bring your own lunch!
  • Loved it. Plenty to see. Interesting things to see. And the shows are great. Some really spectacular. Well worth a visit for all ages
  • Used my Perks card for discount, activities for children included making a rocket and launching it and junk modelling which they enjoyed. Very informative but hard to read it all when you have children in toe. The cinema was worth the extra and just long enough to keep them entertained. Will come back again.
  • Fantastic experience and excellent very friendly staff, watched the short movie "the accidental astronaught" with my two daughters, made a rocket and they even got the chance to dress up. Very enjoyable family day out would recommend to anyone wanting to pass the day.
