Very atmospheric. Excellent views of Angle Bay, offers an all day walkers lunch.
Excellent food and a lovely old pub. The road to it is a bit bumpy!
The Old Point House, is an absolutely fabulous little sea-front public house/restaurant, almost far enough away from the village of Angle for one to be forgiven for thinking that one is in the middle of nowhere. It is a beautiful, old building, which has survived the years very well, and still retains many of it's quirky and original fixtures, such as the fabulous open fire in the lounge/bar,which famously in the past was kept lit continuously using only seaweed as fuel for an extraordinary number of years, without ever going out! The current Landlords, although still quite a new addition, having only been in residence for a few years, are friendly, welcoming, and dedicated to ensuring that their customers receive nothing less than the best service, at all times! Not only this, but situated just a short walk from the centre of the village of Angle, Angle Bay, Pembrokeshire, which is literally one of the most scenic, and picturesque places I have ever been in my entire life, and from recent re-visits, seems as though it hasn't changed in the slightest, other than maybe the odd coat of paint, in the last 15 years! Regardless of why one might find themselves in this area, whether accidentally, a wrong turning, or as part of an itinerary, this is definitely not somewhere to be bypassed! Well worth a look, not to mention, a great opportunity to help the village businesses by bringing them fresh custom! Just please, leave the area as immaculate as you find it, so that others can enjoy it after you, there's not many places of such absolute beauty left in Wales, let's do all we can to keep it that way! :-)
