  • The gardens are pleasant enough, but apart from the cafe and shop there is little else to do apart from walk or picnic. The paths are clearly marked and in springtime I can imagine it must be...

  • We visited on a fairly wet Sunday morning. Good car park - admission is free but £3 for parking - no problem with that - free for NT members by scanning their membership card on the car park pay...

  • Beautiful gardens. Went with our grandchildren. They enjoyed the challenges and they learnt about the bees and the garden plants. They thoroughly enjoyed the stream and walking across the logs to get from one side to the other, it kept them amused for ages. The cafe offered an excellent range of cakes and drinks. Highly recommend a visit.
  • A great reminder of why we are members of the National Trust. Wonderful estate with a lovely walled garden, and a beautiful meadow. The staff was helpful and gave us directions to walk to Amroth beach, 20 minutes away. Definitely recommended if you have the time. We finished off our visit with a generous slice of delicious cake in the tea room.
  • Absolutely brilliant. Stunning scenery with beautiful flowers, shrubs n trees. Calming stream running through the middle of the woodlands n wild flower meadow. Totally yummy food. Lovely cuppa tea n friendly polite staff. Would recommend to anyone of any age n don't forget ur four legged friends. Thank you for a great day out.
  • Do make the effort. This is a location you could come back to time and again and it would never disappoint. Plenty of space for children and dogs. Some of the finest scones to be had in the Trust.
  • Difficult to know where to start. Fantastic interesting gardens, wonderful never ending trails through beautiful wooded scenery. A hidden gem. Highly recommended.
