  • Great walk through beautiful gardens and woodland. Some of our party had difficulty with some of the paths but it did not spoil the walk.  more »
  • Wonderful place to visit, not far from Tenby. Three rope swings to try out, a lovely walk to the pebbly Amroth beach which is accessible from Colby, and several walks round Colby itself. Bring wellies...  more »

  • Lovely place for a day out with the family. We didn't pay to see the gardens but we very much enjoyed walking in the grounds. Free parking and dog friendly. Can't wait to go back.
  • A really excellent "make your own play" type of experience, with just a little helping hand from the National Trust. The walled garden is packed full of pretty things and compact enough for adults to enjoy without boring kids, plus a few easily climbable trees and some ducks. The larger "woodland garden" area has a clear stream running across it's centre with opportunities for racing ducks and pond dipping (nets and ducks supplied by the NT) with trees to climb, fallen trees to scramble on, stepping stones to skip along, shallow enough water to paddle in and logs across the stream to balance along. There's a also a large wooded area to explore and rope swings and den making to enjoy! Highly recommended!
  • Amazing gardens. You can stay within the National Parks itself also, as Rhydlangoed (Colby Lodge) now has a self-catering cottage there, so you can actually stay within the gardens themselves. Really beautiful corner of Wales. Gardens are stunning.
  • Arrive early during wet weather in the holidays as the car park can get busy. Good cafe with excellent coffee and cake made on-site (cafe not National Trust). Lovely walled garden and valley walks on unsealed path.
  • Fantastic gardens and tea room. Plenty to look at whether young or old. Took my son to a bushcraft session, which was very well run and was thoroughly enjoyed!!
