One of the bast places in the lakes. Entirely vegetarian so perfect for me! I've been many times with non vegetarians too who always rave about it. Worth a visit.
I'm not normally one for vegetarian food, but Zeffirelli's is fantastic. Great food and upstairs in the jazz bar we were entertained with wonderful music too.
Great place for all occasions, amazing food, and actually not badly priced, we paid about £20 for: starter, main and a movie (reserved seats included). It was a damp day so we ambled around ambleside for a few hours, went into zeffs at 5, and left the cinema at 10. Made for a most enjoyable evening
Went there with a group of 10 people and while the staff was very friendly, professional and fast, and the atmosphere is very welcoming, the pizza is anything but £10 worth. The dough looks and tastes like Tesco pizza from the freezer which is topped up with stuff. If all pizzas are perfectly round and all have the same size this does not speak for a good pizzeria and definitely not freshly baked pizza. Very disappointing...
Very poor service from the staff. I asked one of the staff to allow my disabled wife who uses a wheelchair to exit the building after the film. This involves opening the rear doors at the back of the cinema. He initially refused so i had him call the manager. The manager came who understood the access issues and obliged. He apologised but it was all so unecessary. I guess its down to the fact that his staff on duty couldnt understand basic english.
